Job summary

Sofidel America in Duluth, MN seeks an experienced Converting Production Manager to oversee tissue paper converting operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a high-volume facility. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in tissue paper converting or related manufacturing.
• Proven experience in leading teams and production lines in high-volume facilities.
• Strong knowledge of converting equipment and processes for tissue paper.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day converting operations to meet targets with safety, quality and efficiency.
• Lead operational setup and staff development for a new Duluth converting facility.
• Monitor KPIs: productivity, waste reduction, machine efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regs, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering and quality control to drive efficiency.
• Lead, train and develop the converting team for operational excellence.
• Manage staffing for production, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles.
