Job summary

TPC Packaging Solutions is hiring an experienced material conversion machine operator for first, second, and third shifts in Cleveland, OH. The role involves operating converting equipment to die cut films and tapes, quality inspections, and basic troubleshooting to maintain production runs.

Candidates should have experience in converting, printing, or packaging industries, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 65 pounds. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in converting industry, printing industry or related industry.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Must be able to physically operate machinery with bending, kneeling, standing for long periods and lifting up to 65 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate various converting equipment including rotary die cutter, single lathe slitter, slitter/rewinder, flexo printing, and flash cut table.
• Review work orders to understand scope and parameters of scheduled jobs.
• Determine material quantities required for each job.
• Align and configure machine, troubleshoot issues and make basic repairs.
• Inspect production samples to evaluate quality ensuring conformity to specifications.
• Package finished material in specified cartons.
• Other duties as assigned.
