Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years experience preferred.
• Ability to work at a fast pace.
• Ability to multitask and read production tickets.
• Ability to perform math calculations including fractions.
• Must be able to read tape measure, including micrometer.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be dedicated to continuous improvement.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor slitting machines to ensure production runs smoothly.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area and comply with safety policies.
• Label rolls produced and ensure accurate labeling.
• Adjust machines during runs and respond to problems found in inspection.
• Review packing specs and verify customer requirements in the system.
