Specialty Tapes Manufacturing - Converting Machine Operator

Specialty Tapes Manufacturing is a worldwide manufacturer of high-performance tapes used in various applications and markets such as Industrial, Automotive, Electronics, Framing, Signs, and Awards. We are seeking an experienced Converting Machine Operator for our Franksville, WI location.

Responsibilities
  1. Utilize your printing or machine operating background to ensure the tape converting machines are running properly.
  2. Read measurement devices such as rulers or calipers to ensure correct product specifications.
  3. Be flexible and willing to learn new skills outside of your regular responsibilities.
  4. This is a floating production position, meaning you will be cross-trained to operate our coating machines and may be asked to assist in that department as well.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-3 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to learn the operation of converting equipment.
  • Understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Forward-thinking attitude with a focus on improvement.
  • Good personality and ability to work well within a team.
