Specialty Tapes Manufacturing - Converting Machine Operator

Specialty Tapes Manufacturing is a worldwide manufacturer of high-performance tapes used in various applications and markets such as Industrial, Automotive, Electronics, Framing, Signs, and Awards. We are seeking an experienced Converting Machine Operator for our Franksville, WI location.

Responsibilities include:

1. Utilizing your printing or machine operating background to ensure the tape converting machines run properly.
2. Reading measurement devices such as rulers or calipers to ensure product specifications are met.
3. Learning new skills outside of your regular responsibilities as needed.
4. This is a floating production position, requiring cross-training to operate coating machines and assist in that department when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-3 years of equivalent work experience.
• Ability to learn the operation of converting equipment.
• Understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proactive mindset seeking continuous improvement.
• Good personality and ability to work well within a team.
