Job summary

7Seventy Recruiting seeks a Copywriter specialized in script and conversion to drive high-performing direct-response copy across paid creative and onsite experiences. You will own video scripts for various formats and craft paid ads, landing pages, PDPs, and advertorials that convert.

Work closely with Creative, Growth, and Product Marketing to translate customer research, product insights, and performance data into persuasive hooks, offers, and CTAs, all while navigating regulatory constraints.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing direct-response video scripts produced and tested.
• Portfolio showing measurable performance from scripts, landing pages, or similar.
• Experience writing landing page or product detail page copy with measurable conversions.
• Experience across founder-led and creator-led voices and content.

Responsibilities

• Write direct-response video scripts across various formats (UGC, founder-led, educational, testimonial).
• Develop copy across the customer journey from education to conversion.
• Write and optimize paid ad copy, landing pages, PDPs, and advertorials.
• Collaborate with Creative and Growth from concept to execution.
• Translate research and performance data into hooks, angles, objections, proof points, and CTAs.
• Develop messaging for product selection, comparisons, upsells, and downsells.
• Adapt messaging across voices and formats, including founder-led content.
• Understand products and supporting science to inform copy.
• Ensure copy adheres to regulatory and claims constraints.
• Use performance data to iterate on scripts and copy.
• Document voice guidelines for performance creative.
