Job summary

Tech Mahindra seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer in Applied AI to lead delivery of Conversational AI pilots at customer sites, turning rapid prototypes into production-ready, scalable, secure AI systems that deliver business value.

You will work with customer engineering teams to architect flows, build eval pipelines, and ensure end-to-end delivery across complex infrastructures, traveling to client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience (Python or similar).
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP or equivalent).
• Experience deploying resources via Terraform or similar tools.
• Experience building full stack applications interacting with enterprise IT infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead developer for Conversational AI and CX applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade workflows.
• Architect and code conversational flows linking AI products to live customer infrastructure, including APIs and security perimeters.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to optimize complex agentic workloads with low latency and security.
• Identify repeatable field patterns in AI stacks and convert them into reusable modules or product feature requests.
• Co-build with customer teams to instill industry-grade development practices for long-term project success.
