Job summary

BCD Meetings & Events in the United States (West Chester, PA) seeks a Meeting Planner to lead conventions, internal meetings, and sales events, ensuring compliance, precision, and flawless execution from kickoff to reconciliation.

You will manage sponsorship approvals, registrations, onsite delivery, and budget reconciliation while building strong partnerships with clients and vendors. Travel up to 30% annually is required.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience in convention, internal meetings, and/or corporate meeting management.
• Hands-on experience with Cvent and Microsoft Office, especially Excel reporting.
• PowerPoint skills and experience supporting marketing-focused event strategies.

Responsibilities

• Managing conventions, national sales meetings, and internal events from kickoff through onsite execution and final reconciliation in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
• Navigating compliance requirements and client policies with confidence.
• Building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams while serving as a trusted go-to for process guidance and event best practices
• Creating and managing budgets, reporting, and meeting data with accuracy, while keeping stakeholders informed along the way.
• Juggling multiple priorities, troubleshooting issues quickly, and staying calm, organized, and detail-focused under pressure.
