Job summary

American Orthodontics in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, is seeking a manufacturing associate to set up surface grinders and CNC production equipment to meet strict specs. You will inspect machined parts, read drawings, and ensure adherence to tolerances using micrometers and optical comparators.

The role requires standing for long periods and occasional lifting, with 2 years of direct manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Machining background is a plus.
• Experience with micrometers is a plus.
• 2 years' experience in direct manufacturing preferred.
• Must be able to stand for 8–10 hours per day and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up surface grinders and CNC production machines to spec.

• Run surface grinders and CNC production machines
• Inspect parts to make sure they are within specification
• Read and understand a drawing and machine parts to specification
• Use of micrometer and optical comparator for inspection
• Make machine adjustments based on measurements
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
