Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Convention Set-Up Houseperson (Banquet Event Set-Up) to help create memorable events for guests. You will set up rooms and function spaces, clear and reset tables, and ensure service areas are clean and welcoming throughout shifts.

Roles include morning, afternoon, evening and overnight opportunities on a full-time basis. The team works to deliver exceptional hospitality in a luxury setting, with emphasis on guest satisfaction and flawless event

• Set up rooms & function areas in the hotel
• Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy.
• Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies

Schedule / Availability

• Full time
• Flexible Schedule: We can work around your availability.
• You choose and commit to the days and hours you can work.
• Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Overnight positions are available.

• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming

Physical Aspects Of Position (includes But Not Limited To)

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Constant lifting and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
