Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Convention Set-Up Houseperson to impeccably set up rooms and function spaces for events, and ensure tables and service areas are pristine for guests.

You will maintain hygiene and safety standards while supporting a seamless guest experience in a luxury hotel setting. Morning to overnight shifts are available, with full-time schedules and flexible hours offered.

As a Convention Set-Up Houseperson (Banquet Event Set-Up) at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, you will have the perfect opportunity to touch the hearts of our guests by making their special occasions truly unforgettable.

• Set up rooms & function areas in the hotel
• Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy.
• Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies

Schedule / Availability

• Full time
• Flexible Schedule: We can work around your availability.
• You choose and commit to the days and hours you can work.
• Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Overnight positions are available.

Qualifications

• Warm and caring personality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Constant lifting and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
