Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Convention Services Setup experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality, hotels, housekeeping, banquets, event operations, or facilities management preferred.
  • Proven ability to supervise teams, monitor productivity, and maintain service standards.
  • Experience coordinating meeting room, banquet, or event space setup and breakdown.
  • Familiarity with shift handoff procedures, reporting, and communication with management.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA.

  • Communicate daily expectations, updates, and operational needs to staff.
  • Inspect all assigned areas for safety hazards and compliance with hotel safety guidelines.

  • Open meeting space for the day's activities.
  • Inform management of all work done for the day and the next day and pass information for the next day.
  • Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies and managing daily operations.
  • Assist with setup when needed.
  • Uphold the company's drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free policies within the workplace.

Summary:

  • Experience conducting inspections for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance.
  • Inventory management experience, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  • Customer service experience with a demonstrated ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs.
  • Experience coordinating meeting room, banquet, or event space setup and breakdown.
  • Familiarity with shift handoff procedures, reporting, and communication with management.
  • Ability to lift- up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
