Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong cash handling and basic math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a quick and efficient check-out experience.
• Process monetary transactions including cash, check, gift card, credit/debit card, etc.
• Follow all regulations regarding tobacco, lottery, and alcohol sales.
• Follow all safe food handling requirements.
• Gas Mart operations including fuel pumps, islands, consoles, drops, and related documentation.
• Follow emergency response protocols for spills and hazardous material handling.
• Maintain clean sidewalks and safe conditions.
• Answer questions about location, price, and product specs.
• Restock merchandise and maintain stock levels.
• Open and close the store and ensure security.
• Complete C-Store cleaning including floors, restrooms and food prep area sanitation.
• Set up displays per company directives.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and credit card.
