Job summary

You will process transactions, follow laws for tobacco, alcohol, and lottery products, and assist in daily store operations. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, flexibility for shifts, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures, including simple math.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work in temperatures ranging from coolers/freezers to outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a quick and efficient check-out experience.
• Process and handle monetary transactions including cash, checks, gift cards, and credit/debit cards.
• Follow regulations regarding tobacco, lottery, and alcohol transactions.
• Maintain fuel pumps and gas mart operations and related documentation.
• Open and close the store and ensure overall security of the facility.
• Complete cleaning, restocking, and display setup as directed by Fleet Farm.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and credit card initiatives.
