Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work (lift up to 50 lbs; standing, stooping).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic site maintenance/cleaning skills; follow instructions and work independently.
• Valid driver's license.

Hourly Pay Rate: $17.96 - $19.27

As a Rutherford County Convenience Center Attendant, you help keep the Convenience Center safe, orderly, and easy for residents to use-supporting reliable Solid Waste service at a sustainable pace.

Key responsibilities include assisting the public with refuse drop-off, guiding proper separation of disposable/non-disposable and recycling materials, operating waste compactors and related site equipment, monitoring container fill levels, and keeping compactor areas and the facility clean and maintained.
