Kelly Engineering in Towson, MD is seeking a detail-oriented Controls Test Engineer for a contract-to-hire role. You will design and implement automated test systems with PLCs, NI cRIO, and embedded processors, ensuring safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include hands-on development, system validation, and collaboration with product teams to drive innovation while applying electrical theory and instrumentation knowledge to real-world controls challenges.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in industrial PLC/Ladder Logic programming.
• Reading and creating electrical schematics with proficiency.
• Ability to translate non-technical requirements into electrical control designs.
• Apply engineering principles (AC/DC circuits, Ohm's Law, etc.) to solve system problems.
• Operate in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement automated test systems using robotics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Work in a hands-on environment and drive development from concept to validation.
• Develop system controls using PLCs, NI cRIO, and embedded processors.
• Utilize test equipment including oscilloscopes and data acquisition devices.
• Collaborate with all levels of product development and safety considerations.
• Provide SME input to drive innovation during development.
