Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking an Engineering Technologist 1 to join our Programmatic Maintenance Team. The role involves supporting engineering activities related to control systems, including troubleshooting and improving electrical and mechanical systems.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology and be skilled in diagnostics and maintenance of complex systems. This onsite position requires the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Experience supporting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve electrical and mechanical control systems.
