Job summary

Dauch Auburn Hills Manufacturing is seeking a Controls Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment across CNC mills, lathes, shapers, and forge presses. You will support project-related design, installation, and commissioning of control systems.

Candidates should be proficient with ladder logic (Allen Bradley, Siemens), read electrical drawings, and use test equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment.
• Assist with design, installation, and commissioning of controls systems.
• Read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems of CNC mills, lathes, shapers, and forge press controls.
• Learn Keyence laser software and 2D barcode software for adjustments.
• Familiarity with Fanuc or Nachi robots for recovery, point adjustment and program changes.
• Collaborate with Engineering on process improvements.
• Operate forklift/scissor lift as needed.
