Job summary

Kubota Manufacturing of America Corp is seeking a hands-on Controls Technician to support and improve PLC-based automation in our Gainesville, GA facility. You will install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain automated systems to enhance safety, quality, and throughput.

This role partners with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production to drive continuous improvement, integrate vision systems, HMIs, and networked controls, and contribute to digital manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills for automation systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell platforms and HMI development.
• Ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based automation and vision systems.
• Familiarity with industrial networks and safety devices is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based automation systems.
• Develop and optimize control logic using Allen-Bradley platforms and HMI development.
• Support commissioning, startup, and integration of new equipment and production line improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to implement automation solutions that improve productivity and quality.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance for automated systems.
• Interface vision systems with PLCs and production equipment for automated inspection.
