Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Controls Technician for the southwest suburban Atlanta area to design, build, and program PLC panels and bring automated equipment online. The role involves installing pneumatics and hydraulics, troubleshooting PLC systems, and maintaining controls-related hardware within a day shift schedule.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 years of related experience, PLC programming skills, electrical expertise, some robotics exposure, and the ability to work with safety

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience required.
• PLC programming experience essential.
• Electrical experience required.
• Some robotic experience preferred.
• Experience integrating safety circuits is required.

Responsibilities

• Pneumatics: Install air logic controls from prints or schematics.
• Hydraulic: Troubleshoot circuits with valves, cylinders, and flow controls.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems using computer.
• Install, program, or repair programmable controllers and robot controllers.
• Use fabrication equipment knowledge to complete maintenance tasks and repair/replace parts.
