Food Management Search, Inc. has an opportunity for a Controls Technician in the southwest suburban Atlanta area, GA.

The role involves designing cells, integrating controls, and installing automated equipment. You will build PLC panels and program them to bring systems online, while configuring, testing, operating, maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting controls and automated systems used in production.

Formación

• At least 6 years of related experience.
• PLC programming with ability to read PLC code from prints or schematics.
• Able to program a machine process from scratch.
• Wiring a 9-lead motor and stress testing windings.
• Identify info from motors data plate for specing or programming components like contactors, soft starters, VFDs.
• Familiar with sensors: PNP, NPN, loop-powered, and dry contact.
• Analog control: 4-20 mA and 0-10 V signals.
• Ladder logic troubleshooting.
• Panel building and electrical experience.
• Some robotic experience.
• Safety circuit integration.
• Authorized to work indefinitely in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in cell design and integration of controls and installation of automated equipment.
• Build PLC panels and program them to get up and running.
• Configure, test, operate, maintain, service, and troubleshoot controls and automated systems.
• Operate or oversee operation of equipment and analyze events within equipment.
• Work with engineers and production teams to achieve desired output.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, routine upgrades, and inspections.
• Repair machine controls, systems, and tools as needed.
• Disassemble or re-assemble equipment to replace defective parts.
• Train others to install, use, and service equipment.
