Job summary
Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated is seeking a Controls Technician in Baltimore to repair and maintain electrical and control equipment in the production facility.
You will act as the on-site SME for electrical/control matters and support PLC programming and design improvements to enhance equipment performance. You will troubleshoot electrical and control issues, calibrate instrumentation, and lead process improvements to boost production efficiency while collaborating with mechanics and
Qualifications
- Requires PLC programming knowledge and experience with Allen Bradley systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and calibrating instrumentation such as flow meters and transmitters.
- 2-year post-secondary education or technical training required; 3–5 years of related work experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, control, and electronic issues.
- Lead calibration of control equipment instrumentation per guidelines.
- Assist with design improvements and PLC programming for control systems.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and implement continuous improvement on production lines.
- Assist mechanics with equipment repairs as needed.
- Train maintenance staff in proper use of instrumentation and control equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
