Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use troubleshooting tools.
• Experience making/ testing PLC or HMI changes in a production environment.
• Ability to trace faults across program logic, I/O, and field devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line controls support for PLC, HMI, I/O, drive, and instrument issues.
• Implement and test routine PLC logic, HMI screens, tags, recipes, and parameters within scope.
• Document changes with rationale, approval, version, test results, and updated records.
• Read drawings to support troubleshooting and update I/O lists and control records.
• Coordinate change windows and perform return-to-service checks with the team.
• Support other technicians with code-level diagnosis using their wiring expertise.
