Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; technical certificate/associate degree preferred.
• Journeyman card or equivalent experience (state license or IBEW apprenticeship).
• 3+ years industrial electrical experience with CNCs, robotics, PLCs, or automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and control issues on CNC machines, industrial robots, and automated systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on servo motors, encoders, VFDs, servo amps, sensors, and safety devices.
• Read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics, ladder logic, and control panel layouts.
• Troubleshoot PLCs (AB, Siemens), HMI interfaces, and robot teach pendants; assist with fault analysis.
• Install, wire, and test control panels, field devices, and network cabling for new equipment or modifications.
• Support integration of robotics with CNC systems and conveyors; assist in uptime improvements.
