Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, maintain and enhance PLC/PC based automation systems within a warehouse environment.

You will use building management system tools and coordinate with engineering staff and vendors to ensure efficiency and data credibility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLC logic, performing preventive maintenance, inventory control and documentation.

Qualifications

• Functional familiarity with HVAC principles for Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Knowledgeable in assembling electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and robotic operation.
• Connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for climate control, security and communications.
• Understanding of 3 phase distribution and transmission systems.
• Familiarity with motor control centers (MCC).
• Understanding Arc Flash Hazard and grounding practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and design PLC logic, operator interfaces, and energy management systems.
• Statistically interpret and improve automated system performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance for controls and inventory management.
• Coordinate with vendors for electrical/controls installations.
• Maintain accurate records such as work orders and parts requests.
• Maintain parts procedures and inventory control.
• Assist other maintenance department members as assigned.
