Job summary

Bath & Body Works is seeking a Control Technician to maintain and repair building controls and material handling systems in our distribution environments in the United States. The role involves diagnosing PLCs, sensors, encoders and bar code readers and implementing program changes to keep equipment running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience with electrical systems, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience with PLCs, conveyors, controls and operating systems.
• Electrical experience with high and low voltage AC/DC.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of automatic identification systems (laser and camera scanning devices).
• Proficient with PC software and hardware; able to read manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify and repair building controls and material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, PMS, sensors, encoders and bar code readers.
• Perform programming changes and monitor control systems.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout and safety procedures; complete work orders with records.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals; use electrical diagnostic tools.
