Qualifications

• Experience wiring and programming PLCs, HMIs and related controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical/automation issues on the plant floor.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical safety standards.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and industrial networks.
• Capable of configuring, modifying, and debugging PLCs and HMIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooter for electrical/automation issues on their shift.
• Install, configure, maintain, or replace HMIs, VFDs, PLCs.
• Respond to downtime events and drive problem solving.
• Support preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Assist with new equipment installation and startup.
• Select and procure replacement or upgrade hardware.
• Calibrate electrical control components as needed.
• Collaborate with controls engineering on projects.
• Evaluate operation and suggest improvements.
• Complete PM work orders and capture data.
