Job summary

Trinchero Family Estates is seeking an Electrical/Controls Technician to maintain and repair wine production equipment at our Lodi facility. You will work under the Controls Lead to keep systems running, set up production support, and mentor junior staff.

Experience with electrical work, PLCs, instrumentation, and NEC knowledge is essential. A high school diploma or GED and a California driver’s license are required. Safety, quality, and teamwork are emphasized across shifts and projects.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience designing, programming, installing, or maintaining automated systems.
• Safely use electrical equipment
• Proficient electrical understanding and troubleshooting techniques
• Understanding of Control Reliability
• Demonstrates a highly motivated work ethic
• Demonstrates the ability to effectively work as part of team
• Ability to accurately follow instructions and take direction
• Ability to respond to frequently changing production pressures
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Valid California Driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the electrical and electronic aspects of winey equipment.
• Set up and support production under the direction of the Controls Lead.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Manage small jobs including specifying parts to purchase.
• Follow all safety protocols (lock-out-tag-out, PPE, etc.)
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and NEC requirements.
• Program and edit PLC and HMI programs; perform VFD replacements.
• Configure process instrumentation and calibrate control loops.
