Job summary

Cencora in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Controls Technician I to diagnose and repair materials handling equipment and automated picking systems in our distribution center.

The role requires reading CAD layouts and electrical diagrams, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining CMMS/EAM records. The position offers $28.50–$32.00 per hour DOE, and may require overtime to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Requires some technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in maintenance or electronics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses materials handling equipment and automated picking system errors and repairs.
• Performs maintenance and upgrades on MHE and APS controls.
• Assesses efficiency and implements modifications.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance to support warehouse operations.
• Maintains CMMS/EAM records for repairs.
• Manages spare parts inventory.
• Willing to work extra hours to meet productivity targets.
