Sammons Industrial, LLC is seeking a Controls Technician I to support installation, testing, and maintenance of conveyor control systems at customer sites in the Carrollton, TX area.

You will work hands-on in the field, learn from experienced leaders, and help deliver reliable automation solutions. The role requires reasonable travel, strong safety awareness, and teamwork within a growing employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license.
• Basic electrical experience and comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Support lead installers with the installation, testing, and maintenance of conveyor control systems.
• Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment for safe, efficient installs.
• Assist with inspections and troubleshooting while following all safety standards and guidelines.
• Document work completed and system updates while maintaining a clean, organized work area.
