Job summary

Sammons Industrial is seeking a Controls Technician I in Carrollton, TX to support installation, testing, and maintenance of conveyor control systems for our customers. You will learn from experienced leaders, work hands-on in the field, and contribute to reliable automation solutions with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include assisting with tool organization, inspections, and document updates. Travel up to 75% may be required, with overtime during peak projects.

Qualifications

• Electrical basics and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to use hand and power tools incl. volt meters.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain conveyor control systems.
• Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment.
