Job summary

Palermo’s Pizza is seeking an experienced Controls or Industrial Automation Technician for our Canal Street, Milwaukee facility on 3rd shift. You’ll join a high-performing maintenance team and help maintain equipment uptime while troubleshooting and upgrading advanced industrial control systems.

The role offers $45–$60 hourly pay, a $7,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including uniforms, safety gear, and relocation assistance. Overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Automation, Industrial Controls, Electro-mechanical or related field.
• Five-plus years of industrial manufacturing experience in design, fabrication and installation of industrial control systems including PLCs/HMI systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 79 and UL 508A.
• Experience with fieldbus, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, IO-Link and CIP Safety.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
• Design, fabrication, and installation of controls systems to UL 508A standards including panel building, electrical schematics, BOMs, and PLC/HMI programming.
• Demonstrate strong electrical knowledge with Allen-Bradley PLCs, PanelView HMIs, and PowerFlex drives.
