Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Technician to maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines in Swedesboro, NJ. You will lead root-cause analysis and train Electro-Mechanics across shifts, ensuring adherence to GMP, safety, and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with extensive experience in industrial controls and electrical maintenance; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher preferred in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
• Support plant utility systems including steam, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, water, and power distribution.

Weekend availability is required as production needs dictate.We're hiring Controls Technicians for a large commercial bakery in Swedesboro, NJ.
