Job summary

Cencora is seeking an experienced Tech II - Controls in Dothan, AL to support the AmerisourceBergen distribution services. The role focuses on maintaining and upgrading Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking Systems to ensure reliable warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and coordinating contractor work while ensuring CMMS/EAM updates and spare parts availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial/maintenance related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of facilities/industrial maintenance experience.
• CFM or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow preventive maintenance plans for facility equipment and systems.
• Diagnose errors in Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System.
• Oversee maintenance, modifications, and upgrades to controls for MH Equipment and APS.
• Assess efficiency and implement modifications to improve performance.
• Maintain CMMS/EAM records of repairs and maintenance.
• Coordinate contractor activities and manage spare parts inventory.
• Be willing to work extended hours to meet productivity goals.
• Analyze operational data to resolve issues and improve workflows.
