Job summary

Our client, a building automation and HVAC services organization in Dublin, OH, is seeking a Controls Systems Technician to join their Field Service team. You will support customers and project teams, perform system commissioning, troubleshoot HVAC controls, and document diagnostics.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and the ability to program HVAC software.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a related field plus three years of industry experience, OR 4+ years of experience servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of HVAC control systems, facility management systems, equipment installation, and service techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• PC proficiency and the ability to program HVAC-related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning using configuration and commissioning tools for building automation and HVAC control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.
• Conduct system diagnostics, calibration, and commissioning documentation for controllers, sensors, and other end devices.
