Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's OSB plant in Fordyce, AR is seeking a motivated Controls Systems Operator to support the Operations Team in continuous manufacturing. You will operate HMI systems to standards and product specification targets, and monitor data entry into computer control systems on a 12-hour rotating shift.

The role requires safety focus, data entry, basic maintenance, and teamwork to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machines or equipment using computer-based monitoring or control systems.
• Familiarity with HMI systems and control hardware is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate HMI Systems to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or data entry into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot machines to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment from forklifts to heavy equipment.
• Adhere to all plant health, safety, and environmental guidelines, policies, and PPE requirements.
