CEIS | Rayne is partnered with a leading energy services company who is searching for a Control Systems Engineer for an exciting direct hire opportunity in Houston, TX. This position focuses on designing, programming, and testing Honeywell DCS systems for industrial and petrochemical projects.

Responsibilities

Create control system specifications and architecture

Program DCS logic and HMI interfaces (mainly Honeywell)

Develop and run test plans

Write operation manuals and documentation

Provide remote troubleshooting support

Coordinate with project teams on schedules and deliverables

Skills & Experience

Read P&IDs and process documentation

Understand full control system architecture

Apply safety standards in system design

Configure and maintain Honeywell DCS systems

Develop HMI/visualization (Honeywell)

Familiarity with other controllers and programming platforms is a plus

Create key documentation: specs, I/O lists, narratives, test plans

Industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC, Profibus, etc.)

Specify and configure instrumentation

Design electrical diagrams, panel layouts, and hazardous area systems
