This hands-on role focuses on commissioning, troubleshooting, and programming Building Automation Systems (BAS) across commercial facilities. - Travel: Local travel within the Kennewick area
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced Controls Specialist or similar role with strong technical and diagnostic skills
- Proficient in BAS programming, including developing or modifying sequences
- Solid understanding of commissioning steps and point-to-point testing
- Familiarity with Siemens, Honeywell, or Tridium systems preferred
- Comfortable coordinating with field teams, engineers, and external partners
- Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-first approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, test, commission, and troubleshoot BAS in commercial facilities
- Program, adjust, and update automation software based on project requirements
- Support field installation teams during system startup and equipment termination
- Provide tuning, verification, and performance testing to meet customer expectations
- Work directly with owners, contractors, and end users to resolve issues and ensure system performance
- Document sequences, system modifications, and deliverables to maintain project accuracy
