Job summary

HAHN Automation Group US, Inc. seeks a software/electrical design engineer to develop, install, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, motion control, robot and vision software per design standards.

Collaborate with Project Managers, Mechanical and Electrical Design teams to translate machine function into robust software solutions; support design reviews and mentor junior staff. Travel will be required, including international trips.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (preferred).
• 3-5+ years of electrical or software design/engineering experience (manufacturing preferred).
• Proficiency in PLC, HMI, robot, motion control, LabVIEW, and machine vision software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, install, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, motion control, robot, vision software per design standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Mechanical/Electrical Design teams to translate machine function into software solutions.
• Support Electrical Design Engineering in design reviews and provide programming guidance for the overall system.
