Job summary

HAHN Group GmbH is seeking a PLC development engineer to advance automation systems. You will gain extensive know-how during initial training and be responsible for PLC development while also supporting on-site commissioning at customer locations with travel up to 20%.

You will identify disturbances during commissioning, document hardware and software changes, and prepare customer acceptances along with the creation of detailed technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Sound technical training (e.g. mechatronics, electrics, automation technology or comparable)
• In-depth experience in the use of the control software TIA-Portal, Simatic
• Manager or TwinCat required
• Experience in engineering and knowledge of automation technology
• Independent and systematic way of working, ability to work in a team

Responsibilities

• During an extensive initial training, you will build up know-how in the PLC development of our automation systems
• You are responsible for the PLC development of the systems, but also support the commissioning in-house as well as at the customer's site (travel max. 20%)
• During commissioning, you will identify disturbances, rectify them and keep records of the hardware and software changes
• You prepare and carry out customer acceptances
• You are responsible for preparing the technical documentation
