Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Controls Service Technician to join our DFW-area service team. You will troubleshoot, program, and maintain Building Automation and HVAC control systems to ensure client facilities run efficiently.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years on DDC/BAS systems, ladder-logic proficiency, and familiarity with ABB, Distech, Honeywell, or Johnson Controls. Niagara AX/N4 certification is a plus. Local travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing or programming DDC/BAS systems.
• Proficiency in ladder-logic or similar programming environments.
• Experience with ABB (Cylon), Distech, Honeywell, or Johnson Controls.
• Tridium Niagara (AX/N4) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, diagnostics, and repair of Building Automation and HVAC control systems.
• Troubleshoot DDC panels, communication networks, and control sequences.
• Modify or create control programs using Tridium Niagara, ABB, Distech, Honeywell, and Johnson FX platforms.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to support ongoing construction and retrofit projects.
• Handle emergency service calls and preventive maintenance with professionalism and technical precision.
