Job description

Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Controls Project Manager for their Auburn Hills, MI location.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing feasibility and cost assessment for controls and software to the vehicle/programs.
2. Representing the control system (controllers and software) as the primary interface with the propulsion system community.
3. Coordinating controls features development.
4. Defining feature roll-out plans (what and when) aligned with overall program milestones and objectives.
5. Playing a key role in controls and software change management, quality assessment, and risk mitigation.
6. Working on complex systems, demonstrating the ability to work independently and within a team to deliver high-quality, robust technical solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in automotive.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Previous experience as a controls/software developer, testing, or calibration engineer is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Proactive, takes ownership, and is accountable.
• Self-starter, confident, and vocal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
