Talascend is currently seeking a Controls Project Manager for an opportunity located in Auburn Hills, MI.

The Controls Managerwill support global planning, execution, and program coordination for Controls & Software platform solutions acrossEngines, Transmissions, Hybrids, Batteries, Charging Systems, and eMotor ECUs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide feasibility and cost assessments for Controls & Software integration into vehicle programs
• Act as the primary interface between Controls Systems (Controllers & SW) and the Propulsion Systems community
• Coordinate Controls feature development and define feature rollout plans aligned with program milestones
• Lead change management, quality assessment, and risk mitigation efforts
• Collaborate closely with internal and cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience (5 years automotive required)
• Background in Controls/SW development, testing, or calibration a plus
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, accountable, and able to work both independently and within a collaborative team
• Self-starter with confidence and the ability to drive initiatives forward
