What you will do:
- Integration & Configuration: Combine HVAC, lighting, and other building systems into a unified control platform, using Trane, Tridium, Distech, BACnet, LON, or Modbus protocols.
- Programming & Commissioning: Write and test control logic, configure DDC systems, and support commissioning to meet design specifications.
- Develop and configure graphics, support on-site startup, and integrate mechanical equipment.
- Setup and configuration of primary customer interface, including graphical interface, user accounts, trending, alarming, paging, and generation of reports.
- Represent the company as a subject matter expert and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing controls platform integration at customer locations.
- Coordinate with team members and customers to understand requirements for integration, installation, and repairs, examining control network layouts, forecasting potential issues, selecting materials, and synchronizing on-site work.
- Enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company assets.
- Demonstrate team effort and dedication to customers, maintaining flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
What you will bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or certificate of completion from an accredited technical school; typically at least 7 years of experience in HVAC/Controls. Technical school or formal training preferred.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and working proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years.
- Previous experience with DDC control systems preferred.
Compensation
Annual Base Salary Range: $29.91 - $55.61 hourly.
