Best Egg, now part of Barclays, is seeking an AVP-level Controls Partner to assess and strengthen the internal control framework for Best Egg’s Consumer Loan business. You will work with Operations or Capital Markets, Finance, and Accounting to align with Barclays requirements and drive remediation plans.

The role emphasizes end-to-end process mapping, risk identification, control design, and governance with cross-functional collaboration to mitigate operational, financial, and reputational

Qualifications

• Experience in risk oversight and control activities within financial services.
• Ability to develop end-to-end process, risk, and control documentation.
• Experience conducting gap assessments against risk frameworks and translating gaps into remediation plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess adherence to Barclays standards and integrate Best Egg into Barclays risk and control environment.
• Map end-to-end processes, risks, controls, ownership, and evidence with cross-functional teams.
• Identify control gaps and remediation actions with milestones and governance.
• Develop reports communicating findings to control owners and senior management.
• Execute reviews to evaluate effectiveness of internal controls against policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen controls and documentation.
