Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain technologies for disassembly, assembly, and testing of components and assemblies in automotive remanufacturing.

The role covers motion control, robotics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, vision systems, and PLC/HMI programming. The candidate should demonstrate advanced electrical and mechanical knowledge, design and manage projects, interface with customers, and mentor junior

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or advanced degree or equivalent experience.
Practical experience with data acquisition systems, PLCs, and control systems.
Experience designing and executing robotics and automation solutions.
Drawing electrical schematics using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical and Visio.
Designing pneumatic and hydraulic drawings; understanding hydraulic/pneumatic principles.
PLC and HMI programming (Ladder Logic or equivalent).
Experience with LabVIEW and sensors; experience with data storage in databases.

Responsibilities

Participates in cost and level of effort estimates for new product launches and projects.
Manages estimates for projects and launches across multiple departments.
Interfaces with customers and visits locations as needed.
Lead and mentor engineers and associate engineers on projects.
Designs and maintains electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic architectures.
Create and enforce standards for electrical/mechanical designs and maintenance docs.
Collaborates on robotics, automation, and industrial projects.
