About This Role

This position is for a Controls Field Engineer in Aftermarket and Service, working independently with minimal supervision. You will conduct and oversee equipment installation, inspection, and repair activities to ensure proper functioning, including on-site calibration after installation. You will solve complex problems and serve as a resource on various tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site field service to install, update, operate, maintain, and repair equipment to meet customer requirements.
• Install, test, service, and repair complex equipment according to company specifications and customer needs.
• Perform on-site calibration, testing, commissioning, and programming after installation.
• Oversee equipment installation activities to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain and analyze equipment logs to determine repair needs and methods.

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Technical Trade School
• 4+ years of experience in HVAC Controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex HVAC control systems, including building automation systems, PLCs, and control panels.
• Strong understanding of control system calibration, maintenance, and diagnostics for HVAC equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and control system diagrams.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and teams.

Pay Range: $74,181 - $130,206 annually
