Controls Field Service Engineers - (US Remote)

Partner with the best

The Field Specialist coordinates and oversees work at the field site, providing quality service to the customer. You will provide the planning necessary for the job, including instructions to the crew and equipment used. Coordinates the clean-up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.

As a Field Specialist Controls, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing installation and/or maintenance activities of rotating equipment in the field at customer sites, primarily using MarkV systems.
  • Performing minor/major maintenance of equipment following service site quality checklists and procedures.
  • Being the primary contact to work with the customer representative and site team to coordinate activities.
  • Providing records of all activities at the customer site to the Baker Hughes supervisor and maintaining good team relations.
  • Executing all responsibilities safely by following all applicable processes and procedures.
  • Performing other related duties as required within the scope of work, including limited troubleshooting on the equipment.
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes core values (HSE, Quality, and Compliance).

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A two-year technical degree (preferred) and 2+ years of field experience with compressors and rotary equipment, including product service training.
  • At least 2 years of experience with MarkV controls maintenance procedures for turbomachinery.
  • Technical, customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and teamworking skills.
