Job summary
Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Controls Engineering Technician I to support operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment at the De Soto, Kansas facility.
You’ll apply foundational electrical and automation skills to diagnose issues, restore equipment function, and contribute to continuous improvement with guidance from senior technicians and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automated manufacturing equipment to restore safe operation.
- Work with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, servo systems, drives and networks to restore production.
- Document maintenance activities and equipment performance for traceability.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams.
