Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC in Mount Pleasant, PA (Hybrid) is seeking a Controls Engineering Project Manager to lead complex electrical engineering projects from concept through execution. You will translate customer needs into practical solutions, coordinate procurement and installation, and collaborate with global teams to ensure quality and cost goals.

The role requires a bachelor's in electrical engineering, 5+ years in controls, and strong PM and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in controls, automation, or control cabinet design.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools; E3 experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Lead engineering activities with internal and external stakeholders throughout project execution.
  • Translate customer requirements into practical and innovative engineering solutions.
  • Drive design optimization initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and cost performance.

Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proficiency with CAD tools; E3 experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and engineering documentation processes.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for customer meetings and project site visits.
